For the year 2017 Miss World beauty pageant has won by the India's Manushi Chhillar . After Priyanka Chopra brought home the coveted title in the year 2000 this win comes after 17 years. The first and second runner up are Andrea Meza who is Miss Mexico and Stephanie Hill from England . A 20 year old from Haryana Ms Chhillar has studied in St.Thomas School in New Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.
On the Miss World website according to Ms Chhillar ,Ms Chhillar wants to become a cardiac surgeon and has plans of opening non - profit hospitals in rural areas.
According to her profile she is well trained classical dancer and also has passion for outdoor sports like snorkelling, scuba diving and bungee jumping.
When she reaches the top five ,during the Question and Answer round she was asked that which profession she thought deserved the highest salary and why.
Answering to the question , it was not about person's salary and that a mother was worthy of the highest respect is said by her.
"I think a mother is of highest respect .I don't think its just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone . She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get highest respect."

To win the coveted title of Miss World Ms Chhillar is the sixteenth Indian Woman. The first Indian woman to claim the title back in 1966 was Reita Faria, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 1994 ,in 1997 Diana Haydon ,in 1999 Yukta Mookhey and Ms Chopra in 2000.
